
SAN GABRIEL VALLEY
REGIONAL HOUSING TRUST
A joint powers authority created in February 2020 to fund and finance the planning and construction of homeless housing, and extremely low, very low, and low-income housing projects. Since inception, the SGVRHT has funded more than 900 units of affordable housing.

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
The San Gabriel Valley Regional Housing Trust (SGVRHT) Board of Directors includes seven local elected officials and two housing and homelessness experts. The legislation that enabled the SGVRHT requires the board to serve staggered terms, such that four members are appointed in even-numbered years.

The SGVRHT is seeking nominations for the following even-year seats:​

PROJECT FUNDING REQUESTS

Residual Receipts Financing:
To seek affordable housing development funding from the SGVRHT, please submit the "Initial Project Application" form below. These applications will be reviewed on a regular basis by the SGVRHT Board of Directors for funding. Projects are prioritized based on readiness to proceed and funds available.

Housing Innovation:
The SGVRHT also provides funding for projects that deliver units quickly and below market rate through its housing innovation fund. The application for this grant is below:

Revolving Loan Fund (RLF)
The Revolving Loan Fund is available for acquisition and predevelopment expenses for affordable housing development in the San Gabriel Valley.
